Privacy on this page

This page shows one film and lets you share it. It is run for the campaign named in the title, on a platform operated by Signpost India Limited. Here is what the page records while you are on it, and what it does not.

What is recorded

• Counts: that the page was opened, that the film was played, how far it ran (a quarter, half, three quarters, the end) and for how many seconds, and whether the sound was turned on, the film replayed, a link shared or copied.
• How you arrived: the tag on the link you opened (a poster code or the name of the network it was shared on), the address of the page that linked here, and campaign tags in the link if there were any.
• Your device class (phone, tablet or desktop), the family of its operating system and browser, and whether the screen was held upright or sideways.
• A coarse location worked out from your network address: country, state, city and district at most. The network address itself is not kept with these records.

What is not recorded

• No account is created and none is needed. The page never asks for your name, number or email.
• No advertising or cross-site trackers run on this page, and nothing here is shared with an advertising network.
• Your exact position is never read; the page does not ask for location permission.

The one cookie

One first-party cookie carries a random visitor id so that repeat opens from the same browser are counted once rather than many times. It identifies a browser, not a person, and is read by nobody but this platform.

How long

The individual records above are kept for 180 days and then deleted. Daily totals (how many opens, plays and completions a day) are kept after that without any per-visit detail.
